Sek. Keb. Ayer Lanas.

Sek. Keb. Ayer Lanas, is a primary school, situated in Jeli district. The school was built in 1957, after the independence of Malaysia. There are about 56 teachers, teaching here. The school buildings are very old except for computer laboratory, which is recently built. About eight hundred pupils are studying here. There are more or less, thirty-seven pupils in one class, out of 24 classes altogether.
Encik Ali bin Hussin, is the headmaster of the school. Sek. Keb. Ayer Lanas is one of the top ten schools in Jeli. Last year, 2007, there were twenty-eight pupils who scored 5As in UPSR. The teachers of the school and the pupils' parents worked together to achieve this result.

my self

This evening, I am starting a blog for my school. It is a new experience for me. I had learned this for two days on 20th to 22nd of April, at Kesedar Inn, Gua Musang. This course was organised by Jabatan Pendidikan Kelantan. Let me introduce myself. I am Hjh Nooraini bt Yaakob, a Kedahan. I am married to my beloved husband, Hj. Zakaria ab. Ghani, a Kelantanese. I started teaching in 1980 at a rural school, SK Kampung Bukit, Naka, Kedah, I followed my husband to Kelantan in 1983 and was posted to SK Gemang. After two years I moved to SK Ayer Lanas, until now I am still at this school. I love teaching here. I have ten children, six girls and four boys. The eldest and the second are working now, after graduating from UITM and IIUM The third and the fourth, both girls are at IIUM now. The fifth daughter is at UNIMAP. My sixth daughter is going to Pahang on the twelfth of April, 2008 for admittance at a Pahang matriculation. my seventh child is a boy, studying at Maahad Tahfiz Pulai Chondong in form Five. The next one is also aboy, in form four at Mahaad Al-Sabirin Ayer Lanas. The last two are a boy and a girl, in year six and year one. They are at SK Ayer Lanas. My husband is also a teacher a SK Legeh.
